As secretariat of the Healthy Newborn Partnership, Save the Children Federation, Inc. maintains this website in order to provide you with information about the status of newborn care worldwide and the many resources available related to policies, programs, and research in newborn health. This policy describes Save the Children's treatment of information you provide through the Healthy Newborn Partnership website. YOUR USE OF THE HEALTHY NEWBORN PARTNERSHIP WEBSITE CONSTITUTES YOUR AGREEMENT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS POLICY.
We encourage you to read the entire policy as it sets forth our understanding with you when you visit the Healthy Newborn Partnership website.
Throughout this policy, you will see the terms "Save the Children," "we," "our," and "us" - these terms refer to Save the Children Federation, Inc. a Connecticut non-stock corporation with tax-exempt status pursuant to Internal Revenue Cod Section 501(c)(3). You will also see the terms “I,” "you," "your," and "yours" - these terms refer to visitors to and users of the Healthy Newborn Partnership website.
1. DO I HAVE TO SUBMIT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION IN ORDER TO VISIT HEALTHY NEWBORN PARTNERSHIP WEBSITE?
You are not asked to submit personal information (information that allows us to identify you) if you are just browsing at the Healthy Newborn Partnership website. Save the Children, secretariat to the HNP, does not obtain identifying information about you unless you choose to provide such information. Save the Children receives personal information (such as name, e-mail, address, etc.) only from users who specifically and knowingly choose to provide such information by choosing to e-mail comments to hnp@dc.savechildren.org.
2. DOES THE HEALTHY NEWBORN PARTNERSHIP WEBSITE USE "COOKIES"?
The Healthy Newborn Partnership website uses cookies. The information collected via cookies is not personal information, and is used by the Healthy Newborn Partnership participating organizations to gather broad demographic information and to measure user interest in the various sections of the website.
3. WILL SAVE THE CHILDREN SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES?
At certain places on the Healthy Newborn Website, you will have the opportunity to provide your name and email address. This information will not be shared with third parties.
4. WHAT RULES APPLY IF I "CLICK" OVER TO ANOTHER WEBSITE?
The Healthy Newborn Partnership website contains links to other websites. Except as may be outlined in this policy, the privacy policies of Save the Children do not apply to any third-party sites. Anytime you leave the Healthy Newborn Partnership website, we have no control regarding what information may be collected about you, nor do we control what third-parties might do with the information. This includes links to Healthy Newborn Partnership participating organization websites. This Healthy Newborn Partnership participating organization should have its own privacy policy applying to transactions at their website. 5. WILL THE HEALTHY NEWBORN PARTNERSHIP WEBSITE POLICY EVER BE AMENDED?
From time to time, the Healthy Newborn Partnership website may be updated or have additional features added. In these instances, we will endeavor to edit this policy in a timely fashion to explain the new practices.
